New Year’s Resolutions can be tough to commit to, especially for those still recovering from holiday shopping and the stress of a new year. Here are a few methods to help you stick to your resolution!
- 1.) Make the Goal Obtainable
- Make sure the goal is realistic and can be finished in a reasonable amount of time (preferably by the end of the year)
- 2.) Start Small
- You shouldn’t jump head-first into your resolution. Set your goal, and slowly work up to it; going too fast will burn you out.
- 3.) Ask for Help
- Don’t be ashamed to ask for guidance! Friends, family, and coworkers; you are not alone in your journey to better yourself.
- 4.) Make a Plan
- Making a list of what you need to do helps with completing your resolution by setting some steps to climb on.
- 5.) Be Open to Failure
- You may not be able to complete your resolution, but you may be able to turn that into a step in the right direction!
