The Cherokee Strip Regional Heritage Center has announced the arrival of a new event which will be a part of the venue’s “Museum After Dark” promotion: “Liquid History: Flash & Fizz”.

The event will take place at the heritage center on Friday, April 11 from 6-9 p.m.

Visitors will take a tour of the Humphrey Heritage Village and learn the history of some of the most beloved sodas of all time. Each stop in the village will feature a sample of a fizzy beverage or a mixed concoction with soda as the primary ingredient.

The price for the event will be $30 dollars per person, with pre-order tickets available for purchase on Eventbrite. Ticketed group tours start at 6 p.m. and depart every 30 minutes until 9 p.m.

There will also be a preview for another upcoming exhibit, “A Body of Work: More Than Skin Deep”, a special exhibit featuring works from tattoo artists across northwestern Oklahoma. The preview of the exhibit, which will take place concurrently with “Liquid History”, will last from 5-9 p.m. and will only cost the price of regular admission to the heritage center.

Both events are open to the public and designed for all ages. For more information on either event, you can contact the heritage center at (580) 237-1907 or by visiting csrhc.org.
