The City of Enid will perform a major overnight water plant tie-in, which will be accompanied by a water system shutdown.
The outage is expected to last from 11 p.m.-3 a.m. on May 7 and will affect most residents and businesses throughout Enid.
The tie-in is for the new water plant on Chestnut Ave. and was scheduled for late in the evening on Tuesday to minimize disruption to Enid residents and businesses.
The City expects a limited impact for most of Enid due to the scheduling, but residents are urged to be prepared.
