The Oklahoma Mennonite Relief Sale is scheduled to be held at the Garfield County Fairgrounds on Nov. 1-2.
The hours for the event will be 4-9 p.m. on Friday and 8 a.m.-2 p.m. on Saturday.
This sale is one of 46 held across the U.S. and Canada to raise money for the Mennonite Central Committee.
The items on sale at the event will include homemade quilts, artwork, household goods, antiques, handcrafted woodwork, and crafts. Items such as quilts and crafts will be sold via auction.
Additionally, there will be food on sale such as German sausage, bratwurst with sauerkraut, bierocks, homemade pies and many other ethnic foods.
Here’s a schedule for the event:
- Friday 11/3
- 5 p.m.: Dinner served
- 6 p.m.: Mini Auction
- 6:30 p.m.: Entertainment by 4 Him, a singing group from Newton, KS. The offering will be taken before the entertainment
- Saturday 11/4
- 8:30-9 a.m.: Breakfast served
- 9:30 a.m.: Auction begins
- Noon: People’s Choice Quilt auctioned
