The Cherokee Strip Regional Heritage Center announced that they will be having Gus Burns in Concert for their Village Sounds “Museum After Dark Experience. Burns will perform on Friday, August 9th at 7 P.M.
In a press release, the Cherokee Strip Regional Heritage Center described Burns as a” singer-songwriter from Caldwell, Kansas, who has cut his teeth from Kansas City down to Texas, but most recently making a name for himself in the Oklahoma music scene. His musical style is one of honest lyrics that come from the heart and relate to his audience, blended with a honky-tonk attitude cultivated from years of playing beer joints and dive bars. With roots in Red Dirt and traditional country, Gus is bringing back the classic Americana sound that music fans have been missing and are so captivated by.”
The Museum will be open from 10 A.M. to 9:00 P.M. and will also be open during the concert. People can attend the concert for the price of regular admission to the museum.
