NOC Enid is hosting its monthly Planetarium Show on Sep. 3 at 7 p.m. in the Mackie Planetarium.
These shows are held on the first Thursday of every month and aim to teach the public about space.
Planetarium Director Fritz Osell will show the night sky over Enid and show where interesting celestial formations may be found in our sky. Dr. Osell will also present a dome show titled “From Earth to the Universe” inside the planetarium. Visitors will see how astronomy has developed over time and how the view of humanity’s place in the universe has changed as a result.
Every show is free, but donations of non-perishable food items are appreciated. All proceeds will go to Our Daily Bread.
