UPDATE: The livestock show has once again had it’s schedule revised due to inclement winter weather. The first day of the event has been been pushed Friday, Feb. 21, and the Sheep and Goat Shows have been pushed back to the following week. The Northwest District Junior Livestock Show, which was scheduled for Feb. 17-24, has rescheduled several of its events as warnings of inclement winter weather have been issued for the week of the event.
First, the entire event has been pushed back by three days, with the new timeframe being Feb. 20-27.
Next, the Ag Mechanics Contest, Steer Show and Heifer Show have all been pushed back a week. The Steer Show will now be on Monday, Feb. 24 with the Heifer Show happening on Tuesday, Feb. 25. Move-in and judging for the Ag Mechanics Contest will be on Feb. 26-27.
Another notable change is the dates and times for the Goat and Sheep Shows, which have been swapped. The Goat Show will be held on Thursday, Feb. 20, while the Sheep Show will take place on Friday, Feb. 21.
