The Oklahoma Department of Transportation (ODOT) has announced an extension to the U.S. Highway 81 rehabilitation project.
The extension is set to commence on Wednesday, May 1, 2024; the project will cover the stretch from the Van Buren Bypass Bridge, located near West Poplar Avenue, to State Highway 45. The rehabilitation work will include concrete panel repairs, diamond grinding, dowel retrofitting, and grading improvements. Lane closures will be in effect during this period, with the project anticipated to conclude by May 17th.
