The Austin Box “12” Foundation is hosting a drive-thru take-back event for Prescription Drug Awareness Day: Picnic for Progress.
Drop off unwanted prescription medications and sharps such as needles, syringes, and lancets stored in puncture-proof containers for proper disposal. Evans Pharmacy will provide sharps containers for your convenience. Free NARCAN Nasal Spray will be available as well.
The event will take place at Government Springs Park, on Saturday, May 18 from 11 a.m.-1 p.m.
The Salvation Army of Enid will distribute free lunch and KNID will have a live remote lasting the entire event.
