Following a Friday incident, Chisholm High School has taken extra precaution with police present on or near campus on Monday.
CHS was placed on a brief “modified lockdown” on Friday following an incident inside the school. Details about the incident have not been confirmed aside from this statement from the school that was sent to parents and guardians last Friday:
“This notification is to inform you of an incident that happened at school today. All staff and students are safe. Ensuring the safety of the CHS students and staff is always our top priority. Following a disruption in the common area morning, we entered into a brief modified lockdown.”
The extent of police presence near campus going forward and the length of time the police will be present is unknown.
