The critically acclaimed southern rock band Blackberry Smoke is stopping by Shawnee’s FireLake Arena for their Be Right Here Tour on Saturday, Nov. 23.
Founded by lead vocalist & rhythm guitarist Charlie Starr, Blackberry Smoke is an American country rock band born in Atlanta, Georgia in 2000. Their debut album: Bad Luck Ain’t No Crime was released in 2003. The band didn’t see stardom until their third album: The Whippoorwill, released in August 2012 and hitting the Top 40 on the Billboard 200.
The band consists of the aforementioned Starr, lead guitarist Paul Jackson, bassist Richard Turner, and keyboardist Brandon Still. In 2018, they added touring members Benji Shanks and Preston Holcomb, as a guitarist and percussionist respectively.
