The Oklahoma Highway Patrol has reported that a single-vehicle collision that happened near Lacey in Kingfisher County has left the driver of the vehicle dead.
Eduardo Dominguez Cervantes, 21, of Hennessey was headed southbound on N2730 before losing control of his 2010 Dodge Ram. Cervantes’ vehicle eventually departed the roadway to the right, coming to rest in a ditch after hitting a large tree.
Cervantes was pronounced dead at the scene and was transported by personnel from the Office of the Medical Examiner to their facility in Oklahoma City.
The cause of the accident and Cervantes’ condition at the time of the crash are both still under investigation.
