EnidLIVE! recently sat down with Taylor Blaiser from Main Street Enid to talk about the upcoming Speakeasy First Friday.
Blaiser began by talking about the previous Speakeasy-themed event last year, as well as the participants.
“We’re super excited about this one, we did it last year on a really small scale and decided to bring it back at a larger scale this year. Last year we had about 600 participants just in the first year of doing it,” Blasier said. “As always, 6 to 9 [p.m.] in downtown Enid. We have about two and a half blocks blocked off for the First Friday.”
Blaiser ended things off by talking about the event held throughout the venue: the speakeasy drinks and deals crawl.
“The big thing that’s happening is our speakeasy drinks and deals crawl. There are 14 participating businesses in this crawl, so you can grab your starting location at the Main Street Enid tent, there are four starting locations you can choose from…they will give you passwords for the next location,” Blasier said. “You won’t know where you’re going until you get there.”
To hear what Blasier had to say about the rest of the event happening this Friday, you can listen to the interview linked above.
