Two juvenile boys, a 15-year-old and a 13-year-old, have been taken into custody following a murder that took place in Garber on Sunday night.
The incident spawned from an altercation that took place after the boys’ mother took the 13-year-old’s phone as an act of discipline. The mother asked Ditter Gonzalez, 34, to help with the boys after the situation began to escalate, leading to the boys reportedly attacking, stabbing and killing the man.
Both boys are currently being held in a juvenile detention center, with the 15-year-old being held on complaints of manslaughter and domestic battery and assault, while the 13-year-old is being held on complaints of first-degree murder.
The investigation into this incident is still ongoing.
