Barbara was born on July 13, 1942 in Davenport, Oklahoma, the daughter of Marion and Doris Potter Oblenness and passed away on Friday, May 2, 2025 in Enid. She was raised in Davenport where she attended schools. Barbara moved around, living in several places in Oklahoma and Colorado, moving to Medford in 1964. Barbara managed convenience stores. Survivors include, son Harold Bowman, Jr. of the residence; Daughter, Kathryn Hern and Johnny of Ponca City ; Grandchildren, Eric Miller and family of Enid, Jessie Hern and family of Medford, Laci Hern and family of Ponca City, Heather Gottsch and family of Medford, Jamie Willis and family of Enid, Tanner Bowman and family of Medford, 12 Great grandchildren; 2 great-great grandsons. Brother, Charles Deans of Oklahoma City; sister, Neva and Jim Cook of Wellington, Kansas. Daughter- in-law, Colene Bowman. Numerous nieces and nephews. Barbara was preceded in passing by her parents, one brother and three sisters, grandson, Chad Hern; Great-grandson, Lane Hern, great-granddaughter, Kamryn Hern and sons Roger and Donald.
