1933 - 2025
Clayton was born on August 24, 1933 in Drummond, Oklahoma to Walter and Opal (Beckner) Lee and passed away on January 3, 2025 at his home with his family by his side.
He grew up in Ames and graduated from Ames High School. In July 1952, Clayton married Joyce Hand and they made their home on the family farm near Ames. He was a farmer and rancher his entire life. Clayton was a member of the Christian Church in Enid. He enjoyed fishing, family get togethers, and visiting with family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Joyce; parents; and son-in-law, Bill Adams.
Clayton is survived by his children, Bryan Lee and Jeanice Adams; adopted daughter and caretaker, Becky Lawrence; nine grandchildren, several great grandchildren; sisters, Freda Hays and Norma Jean Garrett; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
