Laura was born April 2, 1931, to Henry Albert and Edna Jane Dunafon Dinsmore in Wewoka, Oklahoma and passed from this life May 19, 2025, in Enid, Oklahoma with her family at her side.

She graduated from Wewoka High School in 1949 and married Vaughn Good August 21, 1949. The couple made their home in Seminole where Vaughn owned and operated Good Construction. The couple moved to Enid, Oklahoma, in 1963.

In 1969 Vaughn formed Vaughn Good Oil Company where Laura worked alongside Vaughn for many years in the office. Laura was a woman of great faith; she was a member of New Hope Baptist Church and later became a member of Emmanuel Enid.

Laura was artistic and enjoyed creating ceramics, oil painting, and quilting. She enjoyed traveling -- her trip to the Holy Land was especially memorable – but her favorite place in the world was Lake Texhoma where she spent time with family and friends, pulling skiers and chasing sand bass.

She was a member of the Enid Petroleum Wives Club and was an accomplished bridge player. She absolutely loved her family and especially adored her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She is survived by her son Larry Vaughn Good, of Enid, six grandchildren, Micheal Vaughn Good, Heather Good White, Katy Good Young, Jon Ethan Good, Ashley Good Nulph, and Larry Vaughn Good II, sixteen great grandchildren, her sister Glenda Watson and her brother C.E. “Pete” Dinsmore and his wife Sherry, nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Vaughn Good, two daughters, Vicki Lynn Good and Tina Good, one son, Mike Good, one grandson, Eli Good, five sisters, and two brothers.

Memorials may be made in her honor to Emmanual Enid and St. Luke Methodist with Brown-Cummings serving as custodian of the funds.

Condolences and special memories may be shared with the family online at WWW.BrownCummings.com.
