Funeral services for Lee Allen Curtis, 81, Enid resident will be held at 11am on Friday, August 16, 2024 in the Stittsworth Memory Chapel. Services are under the kind guidance of the Amy Stittsworth Funeral Service.
Lee was born on March 24, 1943 in Waynoka, Oklahoma , the son of Pearl and Ernest Curtis, and passed away peacefully on Tuesday, August 13, 2024 at his residence. He was raised and educated in Helena, Graduating from Helena High School with the class of 1961 He served his country in the Army National Guard. From his first marriage, LeAnne was born. Lee worked for Champlain for many years, later working for OG&E where he retired. Lee married Margaret Ann Large and gained a daughter Amy. Lee was a member of McWillie Church. Lee married Sherri Howell at Cowboy Church in Hennessey on February 14, 2005. Survivors include his wife, Sherri of the residence; sons, Matthew Howell of Enid, Chase Howell Enid; daughters, LeAnne Curtis of Owasso, Amy Thomas of Edmond, Heather Howell of Enid; numerous grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren; Brother, Cloyce Curtis of McWillie, Oklahoma. Lee was preceded in passing by his parents, wife Margaret, and brother Ron. Remembrances may be shared online at www.stittsworthfuneralservices.com.
