1938 - 2024
Marlene was born on January 26, 1938, in Bardstown, Kentucky to Margorie and Eddie Korte. She passed on Monday, November 4, 2024, at Baptist Village in Enid, Oklahoma.
Marlene graduated from Olathe Kansas School for the Deaf, in 1957. Then later that year in July she married Billy Bloss and moved to Enid to obtain her degree from Enid Business College. Which began her career in accounting with Martin Agency and later worked with SBIC reaching retirement in 2003. After they both retired, they enjoyed traveling in their RV.
She is survived by her son Mike Bloss of Hillsdale, two granddaughters; Nikki and Kristin, seven great-grandchildren Leah, Ashton, Lauryn and Jesse, Cole, Brykin and Tali, one sister, Sharon Helm, Fla.
She is proceeded in death by her parents Marjorie and Eddie, her husband Billy Don, and her son Melvin.
Memorials can be through the funeral home to Olathe School for the Deaf, through Henninger-Hinson Funeral Home.
