1958 - 2025
Michael M. Miles, of Enid, Oklahoma, passed away suddenly and unexpectedly on April 22, 2025. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Charlene Miles, and is now joyfully reunited with her. Michael was born May 2, 1958 in Beaver, Oklahoma to Robert and Doralee Miles. He graduated from Forgan High School. On August 1, 1981, he married the love of his life, Charlene.
Michael is survived by his three children: Jason Fritzler, Kimberly Bryant and her husband Justin, and Melisa Martin and her husband Patrick. He was a proud grandfather to six cherished grandchildren: Hensley Fritzler, Natalie Bryant, Miles Bryant, Isaiah Martin, Calan Martin, and Madalyn Martin. He is also survived by his loving sisters Kim Caruthers and Vicki Albert.
Michael was preceded in death by his mother, Doralee Holman Miles and Father, Robert Lee Miles and two brothers, Robert and Charles.
Those who knew Michael will remember his deep faith, his quick wit, and his heart for helping others. He was the owner and operator of Miles Termite Pest Control.
A devoted Christian, he found great meaning in scripture—especially Acts 2:2 NIV: Suddenly a sound like the blowing of a violent wind came from heaven and filled the whole house where they were sitting. 2 Timothy 4:7 NIV: I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Psalm 18:6 NIV: In my distress I called to the Lord; I cried to my God for help. From his temple he heard my voice; my cry came before him, into his ears.
He was the kind of man who would do anything for anyone, always with a joke or smile close at hand.
A lifelong fan of bluegrass music, one of his favorite hymns was I'll Fly Away, a fitting reminder of the peace and joy he has found. He was also rarely seen without his beloved Frenchie, Pinky, who faithfully accompanied him wherever he went.
Michael’s kindness, humor, and unwavering love for his family and faith will never be forgotten.
