After A Wild Weekend of Playoff Football Here’s Who’s Left in NW Oklahoma

It was another wild weekend of playoff football in Northwest Oklahoma, after Friday night we are down from 10 teams to 4 teams in our CTB Sports coverage area. Here is how each game went down.

Class A-1

Fairview @ Rejoice Christian: Rejoice Christian wins 34-7

The 2-time defending state champion Fairview Yellowjackets were shocked on the road, losing to Rejoice Christian 34-7 on the road. Fairview quarterback Jax Bernard finishes his career with over 10000 yards passing and 2 state championships.

Pawnee @ Cashion: Pawnee wins 40-13

Although this one didn’t go Cashion’s way the Wildcats are on the rise again making the playoffs for the 1st time since 2021.

Class B-1

Garber @ Yale: Garber wins 38-34

The Wolverines were spectacular in a tough road environment against the #3 team in the state. Domingo Ramirez was incredible scoring 3 touchdowns and over 100 yards receiving, up next for the Wolverines, a rematch against Laverne.

Class B-2

Okeene @ Wilson-Henryetta: Wilson-Henryetta wins 58-50:

The Whippets cap off an incredible season with a tough loss in a shootout. However, this Whippets team will return a ton of talent next season.

Covington-Douglas vs Shattuck: C-D wins 48-14 

The Wildcats continue their special season with a blowout of traditional power Shattuck. Up next a matchup against Seiling the winner of this one may be your eventual State Champion.

Waukomis @ Weleetka: Weleetka wins 66-20 

Waukomis had an incredible season making the playoffs and being ranked in the top 10 most of the season. The Chiefs just ran into a Buzzsaw in # 2 Weleetka.

Seiling vs Cherokee: Seiling wins 48-0 

Seiling continues to defend their Class B State Championship in style getting a huge win over a solid Cherokee team. Cherokee had a nice run themselves winning a playoff game with a freshman QB.

Class C

Medford vs Ryan: Ryan wins 46-18

The Cardinals had a tough time containing a powerhouse program in Ryan. However, it was still an incredible season for the Cardinals!

Timberlake vs Paoli: Timberlake wins 48-0

The Timberlake Tigers achieve another blowout Playoff victory placing them back in the playoffs. Mavric Judd, and Peyton Pierce and company continue to impress!
