Chisholm Longhorns Head Football Coach Kimes Gilbert spoke about how the offseason is going for Chisholm. Last season the Chisholm Longhorns went 6-5 an incredible turnaround for the Longhorns who only won 1 game combined between the 2021 and 2022 seasons.
The Longhorns will be in 2A-1 this season and are in District 1 with Millwood, Bethel, Blackwell, Casady, Crossings Christian, Jones, and Star-Spencer. Coach Gilbert spoke about the turnaround saying “The biggest thing is just driving in that belief”. He went on to say “I think the hardest thing to change is that mindset”.
Coach Gilbert also mentioned QB Kelson Hamilton, Branden Taylor, and Easton John as some of the players he has big expectations for next season.
