Chisholm Longhorns Head Girls Basketball Coach Aly Seng spoke about her upcoming rivalry matchup at the Echo Dome against the Fairview Yellowjackets. Coach Seng talked about how this has been a rebuilding year after the Lady Longhorns lost 7 seniors including CTB Sports Allstar Alice Watkins.
However, the Lady Longhorns have a bright future ahead with a young athletic team that continues to improve throughout the season. Even though it may not reflect on their record the young Lady Longhorns are gaining invaluable experience for the future.
They are led by Junior Emma-Kate Kruska who is averaging 11ppg and 7 rpg. Kruska is tall even for the post position and has excellent back-to-the-basket moves inside she can use to finish a play.
