The Medford Cardinals will face the Ryan Cowboys on Friday, Nov. 22. Derek Darr and Colby Talley from Game On! gave some insight on the upcoming game.
Darr began by talking about each team up to this matchup: “Ryan is one of the best teams in Class C but Medford is having an outstanding year. They’ve won eight in a row, and it’s just been a gangbuster for Medford.”
He continued about what has been the driving force for the Medford Cardinals.
“A big part of their success is [that] Ethan Gonzales is back. Missed last year with an injury, and he’s just been an absolutely huge part. Plays a little bit everywhere on offense and also plays in the secondary on defense. Gonzales has just been an absolute force for the Cardinals this season.”
