Enid Head Football Coach Cameron Condor spoke with CTB Sports about their upcoming season. Coach Condor spoke about the Plainsmen’s summer pride program saying “we had a great summer, kids showed up worked hard”.

Condor is excited about the upcoming season with the Plainsmen bringing back loads of talent at their skill positions. Plainsmen Quarterback Aidan Robinson will be back for his senior season and is poised for a breakout year.

The Plainsmen will be returning several exciting skill players to surround Robinson with like running back Blake Fuksa, wide receivers Keon Young, Zyire Allen, Karmello Washington and Tyson Kennedy will be splitting time at running back and wide receiver.

Enid will also have key returners on defense like safety Tyson Kennedy who was an interception machine his freshman and sophomore seasons, and Jarrett and Jradden Russell who are forces on the defensive line.

While nothing will come easy in a 6A Class that is as tough as they come, the Plainsmen will be in a great position to take a major step in the right direction. Enid will kick things off with a rivalry game at home against Ponca City.

The Wildcats will be motivated and looking to get revenge on the Plainsmen after Enid defeated them in Ponca City last season 29-27.
