In this interview, CTB Sports Director Derek Darr sat down with the new Enid Pacers Head Basketball Coach Aly Seng to discuss the 2024 to 2025 season.
Seng started off by talking about how she feels about becoming the new coach for the Enid Pacers.
“I graduated from Enid, it was something that was always in the back of my mind [that] it would be a cool opportunity…it just [suddenly] happened and that’s why I felt like it was meant to be. It was unexpected, but I’m really excited about it and it’s been a lot of fun.”
Coach Seng shared what it was like taking over the program in October.
“It was something that was unexpected. Getting a late start, we just tried to get to know the girls and also put in a bunch of stuff at the same time; and try to get things going. We spent a lot of time doing some team activities to get to know one another, and it’s really been great; the girls are awesome.”
