Enid Plainsmen Head Baseball Coach Brad Gore Talks Upcoming Regional Tournament
Enid Plainsmen Head Baseball Coach Brad Gore Spoke with CTB Sports about the upcoming Regional Tournament. The Plainsmen finished 5th in their district in a tightly contested district race where they found themselves on the wrong end of a 3-way tie for 3rd.
The Plainsmen will be paired up with 3 other teams, the 1 Seed Piedmont, the 2 Seed Norman North, and the 4 Seed Muskogee. The Regional Tournament will be at Piedmont and will be a double-elimination tournament!
The Plainsmen will 1st take on Norman North while Piedmont will take on Muskogee. However, the Plainsmen still have 2 regular season games before playoffs start. Coach Gore spoke about how these games will be important for confidence even though they won’t affect the playoffs.
Enid will take on Jenks on Friday in a road contest at 6:30 pm and a home stand against Edmond Memorial on Monday at 5:30 pm. Listen to all the games on CTB Sports 1390 KCRC, 1640 KZLS.
