The Hennessey Eagles are moving on to the Class 2A State Semi-Finals after a 59-50 victory over the Merritt Oilers. Jael Torres was incredible with 22 points on 10/20 shooting. While Camdyn Richardson had 13 points on 4/11 shooting with 5 rebounds.
The Eagle’s defense was also a big factor forcing 14 turnovers while only committing 8 themselves. However, Head Coach Brady Page and the Eagles will have a tough test as they have a matchup with the Dale Pirates.
Dale is the #1 team in Class 2A and has had a dominant year going 28-2, with their only losses being to 6A #2 Owasso and Hoover Alabama. Hennessey have to play a complete game and get elite production from their scorers to win.
