Hennessey Head Football Coach Mark Cox Talks Offseason
CTB Sports spoke with Hennessey Head Football Coach Mark Cox about their offseason preparation and what he learned in his 1st year at Hennessey. “we learned to battle through some adversity and fortunately we’ve got a lot of guys coming into the program that should be able to help us”
“We had about 10 or 12 guys that were in high school here last year that didn’t play that are going to be playing this fall”. He went on to note how their numbers have improved from 27 players last year to 45 players this season.
Some impact players that Coach Cox expects to help the Eagles are Erik Rojo, Luis Macias-Montoya, Kevin Trillo, Jessin Hardin, among others. The Eagles will play in Class 2A-II District 1 alongside Alva, Kellyville, Kiefer, Luther, Newkirk, and Perry.
