LSU-Eunice has done it again! For the 8th time, Bengals Head Baseball Coach Jeff Willis hoisted a National Championship trophy after defeating the #2 seed Brunswick Dolphins. It was a tightly contested game most of the way until the Bengals turned up the heat blasting the Dolphins to score 6 runs in the 8th inning.
Dawson Willis was named player of the tournament while Alex Dupoy was named the defensive player of the tournament. It wasn’t always easy for #1 LSU-Eunice, they dropped a game in the semi-finals to St. Johns Rivers State losing 8-7. Before coming from behind to defeat the Vikings 6-5 in the elimination semi-final game.
