Oklahoma City’s Triple-A Baseball Team Announces Brand Identity Transition Toward Unique and Local Name

The Oklahoma City Dodgers the Major League Baseball Triple-A Affiliate for the Los Angeles Dodgers are ditching the name of their parent club. Now the former Oklahoma City Dodgers will be known as the Oklahoma City Baseball Club.
In a statement, the Dodgers said they “look forward to celebrating our franchise’s history as we spend the 2024 season as the Oklahoma City Baseball Club. The club will remain the affiliate of the Los Angeles Dodgers. They also stated in the announcement that the franchise will be selecting a new and permanent identity before the 2025 season.
It is unknown if the Oklahoma City Baseball Club will be the permanent name of the team or if they will land on another name for the club.
