STILLWATER — The coaching search is over, Oklahoma State has found its new head man to lead the men’s basketball program. Steve Lutz was hired as the school’s 21st men’s basketball coach. Lutz was previously the Head Coach at Western Kentucky where in his 1st year at the program he led the Hilltoppers to the NCAA Tournament for the 1st time since 2013.
Lutz also had a previous stop at Texas A&M Corpus Christi where he led them to multiple NCAA Tournament appearances. He also served as the assistant coach at Creighton and Purdue, 2 top flight college basketball programs.
