In this interview, CTB Sports Director Derek Darr sat down with the Pond Creek-Hunter Head Boys Basketball Coach Darin Jones to discuss the upcoming Pond Creek-Hunter Invitational Tournament!
Coach Jones started off by talking about what has contributed to the Panthers’ success this season.
“First of all, we’re a senior-ladened team, we have seven seniors and they have experience. They’ve been playing since they were freshmen. So I would say that contributes a lot to our success. We have a lot of size, and depth this year! So I can go about eight deep and I think that’s really helped our success early….”
The coach also talked about how it feels to have every teammate back for this season of Basketball.
“It’s a confidence builder. We had everybody back and had a great summer, spent a lot of time in the weight room, and worked on our game and development. We’re very confident about what we can do and where we can be at the end of the year.”
The Pond Creek-Hunter Invitational Tournament will span from Dec. 12 to 14; ALL games will broadcast LIVE on CTB Sports at 1640 & 1390 AM, the CTB Sports app, and EnidLIVE.com.
