On Saturday, June 15th several athletes from Northwest Oklahoma competed in the Oklahoma 8-Man Football All-Star Game. The game was played between the Green Team and the White Team with both teams being represented by players from NW Oklahoma. The Green Team defeated the White Team 48-26.
For the White Team Pond Creek-Hunter graduate Harrison Stapleton was named defensive player of the game, and Ringwood graduate Rowdy Schmidt was named offensive player of the game. Seiling graduate Kaden Manuel, and Ringwood Graduate Cody Conaway each posted strong performances offensively as well.
Former Cherokee Quarterback Kai McHenry slid over to the wide receiver position and had several large receptions and a touchdown grab. Finally Okeene lineman Kyle Lewis provided solid blocking while Okeene DB Brody Jinkens had a strong game as well.
