Timberlake Tigers Head Football Coach Brian Severin spoke with CTB Sports about his upcoming induction into the Oklahoma 8-Man Football Hall of Fame. Coach Severin has experienced a lot of success at Timberlake High School with the Tigers even making it to the State Championship game this past season where they lost to Tipton.
Coach Severin spoke about what’s been the key to his successful program “Well, I think just accountability, probably having boys that kind of know what’s expected of them, (0:59) holding the kids accountable”.
Coach Severin has appeared in 6 State Championship games and is a 2-Time State Champion with his most recent victory coming in 2021.
Coach Severin also spoke about what it’s been like coaching with his son Defensive Coordinator Tyler Severin “coaching with Tyler has been even better than ( coaching him. He does a really good job. He knows, once again, he’s one of those that knows what’s (3:59) expected, digs in, works hard, done a wonderful job for us”.
