The Waukomis Chiefs Head Football Coach Rustin Donaldson sat down with CTB Sports Director Derek Darr to preview the upcoming game against the Cherokee Chiefs.
Donaldson started off by talking about the game against Olive.
“It was the best game we’ve played so far. The goal for us is to improve [with] each game throughout the year; we’ve done that and we’re waiting for the next challenge.”
Coach also assessed his team and its strengths.
“I think we’re pretty versatile in the fact that we can run it inside/outside and get it to multiple guys. We throw enough to keep you honest, and we’ve got guys who can catch the ball and throw when we need to…we’ve got some good weapons and they’ve all done well for us. ”
Waukomis will face Cherokee on Thursday, Nov. 7; you can listen to the game LIVE on CTB Sports at 1390 & 1640 am. Pregame begins at 6:30 p.m. with kickoff at 7 p.m.
