One Injury Reported in Motorcycle-Vehicle Accident in Enid Saturday

A motorcyclist was injured in an accident after colliding with a pickup in Enid on Saturday afternoon. 

24-year-old Tristan Haley was riding a Honda motorcycle when the accident occurred at the intersection of Cleveland and Oklahoma. 

Haley sustained a head injuries and was taken by Life EMS to Oakwood Mall, where a Mediflight helicopter transported him to OU Medical Center in Oklahoma City.

Haley  was not wearing a helmet and reported the incident himself at 4:01 p.m. at Cleveland and Oklahoma.

The intersection and part of Oklahoma was closed for about an hour as at least six police units, an Enid Fire Department truck and Life EMS ambulance responded to the incident.

William Phares, the driver of the Ford pickup, was not injured.

EPD is conducting a major collision investigation as the cause of the crash is not yet known.
