The ESPCA Enid’s no-kill animal shelter has announced a vaccination drive-thru for dogs which will take place on June 26th from 9 am to 12 pm. Vaccinations will be free and will be for rabies and for DAPP.

DAPP is a combination vaccine that vaccinates for several viruses that affect dogs including parvovirus and distemper.  Enid’s animal population has had an outbreak of parvovirus and distemper which can often be fatal to dogs.

One consequence of the outbreak was the ESPCA being closed to the community last month. The best way to ensure your dogs are protected against parvovirus and distemper is to ensure their vaccinations are up to date.
