OAC Approves 2 Projects for Woodring Airport

Oklahoma Aeronautics Commission has approved two projects to improve Enid’s Woodring Regional Airport in part of their $142 million statewide improvement plan for fiscal years 2020-2024.

The first project was allocated $1.91 million to reconstruct runway 13/31 which needs redone from years of use.

The second project is schedule to take place a year following the first and was given $1.1 million to rehabilitate runway 17/35 and taxiway A and install LED runway lights and guidance signs.

The two Woodring projects total just more than $3 million.
