Anne Heche’s Son Homer Claims Mom’s Estate Cannot Pay Its Debts

Anne Heche’s estate, managed by her 22-year-old son Homer Laffoon,  has filed court documents revealing that it’s unable to settle the late actress’ outstanding debts, totaling over $6 million. Included in that are claims filed by the owner’s of the home Heche crashed into when she died, and another woman who was renting the property and lost her belongings in the accident.

Heche’s estate is reported to be only in the low six figures, and includes a modest bank account, royalty payments, a corporation, and other residual income. Proceeds from Heche’s posthumous memoir have also been reportedly lower than anticipated.
