Paramount+ and Showtime have revealed the cast for the Dexter prequel, Dexter: Original Sin. Patrick Gibson (Shadow & Bone) will portray a young Dexter Morgan, while Christian Slater will play Harry Morgan, Dexter’s adoptive father and a homicide detective. Molly Brown (Senior Year) will take on the role of Debra, Dexter’s younger sister. The prequel is set 15 years before the original series, in 1991 Miami, and explores Dexter’s journey from student to serial killer. With his father’s guidance, Dexter learns to direct his dark impulses towards eliminating individuals who deserve it. The series will consist of 10 episodes and stream on Paramount+ and Showtime.
