The Enid Public Transit is providing free transportation on New Year’s Eve.
The free rides can be obtained by calling (580) 279-7111 during the late evening on Tuesday, December 31, 2019. Calls will be taken until 2:00 a.m. on Wednesday, January 1, 2020.
Mary Beth Williams, general manager of the Enid Public Transportation Authority said, “If you don’t feel like you can drive home safely or if you know someone that doesn’t need to drive home, please give us a call. We can provide a safe and easy way home.”
Funds were made available to offer free transportation on New Year’s Eve by Jerry and Flora Boland in memory of Lori Boland.
Residents can sign up for mobile app notifications to get communication about holiday announcements, closings, trash schedules, water outages, and other important events by going to: Enid.org/RequestCenter or by downloading the SeeClickFix app.
