The Los Angeles Rams announced on Thursday afternoon that they have released their franchise running back, Todd Gurley. Gurley signed a four-year, $60 million contract extension with the Rams in July 2018, a deal that made him the highest-paid running back in the NFL at the time.

On the bottom of this article I will have my prediction on where I think Gurley will land next.

What makes it even more awkward? The fact they had this video ready to roll on their social media channels. Either their production staff is very good at their jobs, or this was leaked to them a couple days ago.

Here is what Todd Gurley tweeted after finding out he was released. At least his sense of humor is good.

Where will Todd Gurley play in 2020?

This seems like an easy guess, but nothing is easy anymore. What team just signed one, if not the greatest quarterback of all time? What team needs a running back? Easy.

PREDICTION: Todd Gurley signs with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers

With that offense already adding Tom Brady, why not add Todd Gurley? Should not be an expensive purchase, plus the Bucs need a running back?

The depth at running back they currently have consists of:
