State Adds 1k More COVID-19 Cases, 20 More Deaths Reported by OSDH

(Enid, OK) The state sees another climb in COVID-19 after the Oklahoma State Department of Health reports another 1,041 cases and 20 more deaths associated with the pandemic.

Deaths reported Thursday were 15 in the 65 and older, four in the 50-64 and one in the 36-49 age groups, according to OSDH. Counties of residence were six in Ottawa, three in Okmulgee, two each in Tulsa and Creek and one each in Cleveland, Harper, Hughes, Pittsburg, Mayes, Murray and Sequoyah.

As of Thursday afternoon, Garfield County had 2,475 cases since March with a one-day increase of 20 cases and it includes the 317 active cases. There have been 28 deaths, all in Enid.

Other Northwest Oklahoma county case increases on Thursday were 10 in Kingfisher, five in Major, four in Grant, two each in Alfalfa and Woodward and one in Blaine.
