Aerosmith‘s entire farewell tour that was to extend into 2024, has been postponed. An announcement stated that Steven Tyler‘s vocal issues were “more serious than initially thought.”

Just two weeks ago, six shows were postponed, giving the singer 30 days to recover.

A statement on their socials read: “His doctor has confirmed that in addition to the damage to his vocal cords, he fractured his larynx which requires ongoing care. He is receiving the best medical treatment available to ensure his recovery is swift, but given the nature of a fracture, he is being told patience is essential.”

New dates are to be announced in the near future.

Aerosmith’s Peace Out farewell tour, kicked off last month, to 21,000 fans in Philadelphia.
