Beatles ‘Help!’ Footage Is Up For Auction

Recently discovered, candid film footage of the Beatles has surfaced of their iconic movie, Help! The three minute and 17 seconds of 8mm film is set to be auctioned by RR Auction, as part of their Remarkable Rarities series.

The footage, shot on location at Salisbury Plain, Wiltshire, during the production of the “I Need You” sequence, captures the Fab Four engaging with cast and crew… playing their instruments… and sharing light-hearted moments.

The original black-and-white silent film was captured on May 3, 1965 and is believed to be from a member of the production crew or possibly a friend of the Beatles.
