Deep Purple is set to release a comprehensive version of their album, Machine Head with new mixes and previously unreleased live recordings. The Super Deluxe Edition will be available on March 29.
One of their most famous songs,1973’s “Smoke On The Water” was on that record. It was inspired by the burning of the Montreux Casino in Switzerland, they witnessed during a Frank Zappa concert. And this new release…. will feature mixes by Frank’s son, Dweezil Zappa.
The collection will also include their concert at the Montreux Casino.
