During a recent BBC Radio 2 show, Foo Fighters performed a cover of the Bee Gees song, “You Should Be Dancing,” and it sounds very close to the original.

Frontman, Dave Grohl said he purposefully didn't stray too far from the original’s energy. He talked about how the band decided on this song in particular.

He explained, “Somebody said, ‘Hey, have you seen that Bee Gees documentary?’ And I was like the last person on earth — the only person that hadn’t seen it! So I was like, ‘Why don’t we just do a Bee Gees song?"”

After recording, Grohl said, “I have never, ever in my life sung like that, but it was the easiest song that I have ever sung in my entire life! It was like six minutes and I was done. I should have been singing like this for the last 25 years!”

“You Should Be Dancing” was #1 in 1976 and was also included in the movie Saturday Night Fever.
