Graham Nash Back In The ‘Now’

Out today (May 19th) is Graham Nash's latest solo set, titled Now. The album, which marks Nash's first new music since the death last January of estranged partner David Crosby, includes a new song written about Crosby, Stills, Nash, & Young, titled “I Watched It All Come Down.”

We caught up with Nash and he spoke frankly about how he sees things at this point in his life as both a man and an artist: “I'm just always looking always to the future — 'don't care about the past, not much you can do about it and I'm still here. Y'know, still writing, still trying to figure out what the world is all about, what the climate change is about, what the political scene is about throughout the world and the rise of the right wing. Yeah, I have to feel something about something I see before I write.”

Graham Nash told us the “now” he sings about on the new album is actually a pretty good place: “Y'know, I've been around a long time, as you know, I'm now 81 and I'm very happy with my life. I have made some fine music in my life with my fantastic musical partners.”
