Korn’s Jonathan Davis has recorded his own version of Pet Shop Boys‘ “It’s a Sin.” for the upcoming TV series, Paradise City.

Davis has long had an interest in cover songs. For years, the band has talked about doing such an album, but are yet to produce one.

The TV series is a spin-off of the 2017 film, American Satan, and will feature several rock band covers. Among those announced, Machine Gun Kelly and Travis Barker covering Smashing Pumpkins’ “Disarm.”

Like many of the covers on the soundtrack, the Davis version of “It's a Sin” provides a more haunting tone than its original. Pet Shop Boys initially released the track in 1987 as the lead single from their album, Actually. Their version had a danceable, pop beat.

Although the series is yet to air, the soundtrack is already available.
